Vaccination Site at the Former Kodak Hawkeye Location
Federal and state governments have established a permanent vaccine site at the former Kodak Hawkeye parking lot at 1345 St. Paul St., Rochester. This site is open to any eligible resident of Monroe County and it will help ensure that communities of color and other residents from disadvantaged neighborhoods who have been at the back of the line for vaccines, will be first in line at this site.

Yes. Anyone who lives in one of the designated ZIP codes and also meets the eligibility requirements can get the vaccine. These ZIP codes were identified because they have had high rates of COVID-19 and low rates of vaccination.
It is acceptable to attest — to say verbally or in writing — where you live and that you have a medical condition. You may be asked to sign forms attesting to this information. If you have a driver’s license or other form of identification, it’s useful to bring it with you to your vaccination appointment. But it is not required.
While the site will be staffed by people in uniform, these workers are physicians and other staff who work for the Department of Defense. They are required to wear uniforms to do their job. Local police are not staffing this vaccine clinic.
The COVID-19 vaccines are free to everyone. Although you may be asked for insurance information when you register on the New York State website, it’s not a requirement. If you have an insurance card, bring it to your appointment, but if you do not have an insurance card, it’s not needed at the appointment site. You will not be charged at any time for your vaccine.
